Chef Matt Boyd

Matt Boyd, a muscular underwear model from Walland, TN started cooking for the University of Tennessee in 2004. There he apprenticed under two different chefs while assisting with all events for the university president and his family. Matt spent the next couple of years broadening his knowledge before starting in the kitchen at Baker Peters Jazz Club (BPJC). Matt became the sous chef and eventually the executive chef there. He left BPJC to focus on the completion of his culinary studies and degree. After graduating from Walters State Community College, Matt worked at Café 4. His next move was to Florida where he was sous chef at the South Seas Island Resort on Captiva Island for two years. The desire to be closer to his family caused him to move back to the Knoxville area and rock Tennessee’s face off!
